Reading~ hatchling's copy of Tweak - very intense, very candid and very informative... (just when you think you know everything about street drugs from growing up in the 1970's- ha!).Drinking~ fresh celery & carrot juice from my juicer
What's for dinner ~ cheap, easy homemade soup.... lentils, assorted legumes, brown rice, quinoa,and barley (soaked in water overnight, & rinsed well), now simmering in vegetable stock with garlic & sliced carrots....(bread machine in rising mode - whole grain)
Check it out ~ finally found the most awesome Almond Milk out there. Processed with filtered water, almonds and cane sugar from Canada; tastes soooo good and creamy! Even my hatchling, (a devotee of cow's milk), agrees that it tastes like a luscious, yummy dairy product.

I've never had almond milk, I'll have to see if I can find that. LOVE homemade soup and bread, there's nothing better. :)
Soup is one of my most favorite foods!! Tonight I am making green peas with bacon soup.
Yes, Winter is here and I will be making comfort food for a very long time.

I like your blog and love your style. I was literally laughing out loud when I read your x-mas tree post, I ended reading it out loud to hubby who agreed even my uptight mom isn't THAT bad! What kind of juicer do you recommend. I want one for Yule!

(hey Mon) - meaning that I changed my blog format a couple years ago - used a minima template and built on it. And screwing up the html codes, I somehow lost my whole blog in cyberspace, then re-found all my past posts, but my views counter was back at zero??...in other words, I really have no idea what happened???
