Toronto~ Feel the Love~

...more specifically, Kensington Market. A borough of the city that is my favourite place to visit.
If I could afford to, I'd live here. Amongst my people...hippies, bohemians, neo-pagan-Buddhists who worship colourful artwork and coffee; prayer flags, Indian fabrics and Ganesh; exposed brick and graffiti; musicians and buskers and writers and cool happy people everywhere....

ahhh.... if I had a million dollars....I'd open my own used book store here with an expresso machine and comfy vintage chairs and funky reading lamps.....

my hatchling fits right in here!

Peace & Happy Weekend!

* Stay tuned for more pics of Toronto....

Holy Cow!!! I've got to make a road trip to Toronto. I've only been to Quebec and that was over 25 years ago! No wonder you love it there so much. Totally fun looking place with lots of funk! Enjoy your weekend :))

RainbowsRaInBoWSRAINboWs! Woo! If you ever find yourself wandering in Wisconsin--our state capitol, Madison, looks a lot like this. Great ethnic foods, giant farmers markets, paint all over the place. Love it. :)

Oh you make me homesick! I love Kensington Market and totally see you living there. It's so you! And those colours? Astounding!

Thank you also for your recent comment. I am so sorry you're also going through a vortex of hell this year. My heart goes out to you and I sincerely hope we get free from the black hole of hell soon, LOL. Seriously, we deserve it. :)

Hi, loved reading this! I'm planning to visit Toronto from the UK with my 17yo dd at the end of October. Any tips? What should we go see? What's the best area to stay? Would love to get your 'insider' info x

ahhhh what a beautiful neighbourhood.
Halifax has a few places like this, on a smaller scale. I always find it funny, though, that these 'free spirited' bohemian places are always located in very pricey neighbourhoods. a bit awkward ya know?
i would also LOVE to open a bookstore and espresso machine place. what a life! :)

Me too!! BEAUTIFUL :) Never been there, but these pics make me want to take a journey -
Bookstore sounds fab - always been something I think I'd enjoy doing, too. We have a great one in downtown McMinnville with a nice blend of new & used books on the shelves, author talks & other fun projects. I've played harp there for several open houses (another idea for *your* bookstore!)
